The Senator representing Kwara Central has formally joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after recently resigning his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The lawmaker has now picked the PDP ticket to seek re-election as the Senator representing Kwara Central in the 2027 general elections, describing the move as the beginning of a new chapter.

In a statement, he expressed gratitude to the leadership and members of the PDP for the confidence reposed in him and thanked the people of Kwara Central for their continued trust and support.

He pledged to continue the journey with greater commitment and determination to serve his constituents, while calling for collective support as the 2027 election approaches.

“Power to the People!” he declared.
