The Founder and Convener of the Goke Progressive Movement (GPM), Otunba Olagoke Oladosu, has congratulated Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on his appointment as the coordinator of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential campaign in Osun State.
In a congratulatory statement, Oladosu described the appointment as recognition of Adeleke’s leadership capacity, political influence and commitment to the development of Osun State and Nigeria.
He said the appointment reflected the confidence placed in the governor’s ability to unite political stakeholders and mobilise support for President Tinubu ahead of future political engagements.
Speaking on behalf of the movement’s leadership and members, Oladosu described the appointment as well deserved and called on residents of Osun State to support the president.
GPM Calls for Support for Tinubu
Oladosu urged residents across the state’s 30 local government areas, including market men and women, youths, political groups and traditional institutions, to rally behind Tinubu’s administration.
He called on the people to demonstrate the same enthusiasm and political commitment they displayed in August in support of the president.
According to him, the Tinubu administration’s economic reforms and infrastructure development efforts present opportunities for Nigeria’s progress, urging Osun State to position itself to benefit from national development initiatives.
Movement Pledges Grassroots Mobilisation
The Goke Progressive Movement reaffirmed its readiness to collaborate with Governor Adeleke and other political stakeholders to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, voter education and cooperation across wards and communities in Osun State.
The movement also wished the governor wisdom, good health and success in his new role, expressing confidence in his ability to coordinate political activities in support of the president.
The appointment is expected to place additional emphasis on political engagement and mobilisation across Osun State as stakeholders prepare for future electoral activities.
