Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has moved into third place on Galatasaray’s all-time list of highest-scoring foreign players after another outstanding performance for the Turkish champions.

The 27-year-old achieved the feat after scoring twice in Galatasaray’s 4–0 victory over Erzurum FK on Friday night.

The brace took Osimhen’s Galatasaray goal tally to 62 goals in 76 appearances, moving him ahead of former Czech Republic international Milan Baros, who scored 61 goals during his time with the Istanbul giants.

Osimhen has also provided 16 assists since joining Galatasaray, further highlighting his importance to the club’s attack.

The Nigerian striker now trails only Mauro Icardi and legendary Romanian midfielder Gheorghe Hagi on Galatasaray’s all-time foreign scorers’ ranking.

His latest milestone adds to an increasingly impressive record in Turkey and further underlines his status as one of Galatasaray’s most prolific foreign attackers.

With his goalscoring form continuing, Osimhen will now look to close the gap on the two players above him as he continues his spell with the Turkish giants.
