Hon. Tomiwa Babalola Alatunse, an Accord Party chieftain in Ife Federal Constituency, has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II, CFR), the Ooni of Ife, on the occasion of his birthday.


Alatunse described the revered monarch as a distinguished first-class traditional ruler whose influence extends beyond Ile-Ife, particularly through his commitment to promoting Yoruba cultural heritage, unity and peaceful coexistence.


He also acknowledged the Ooni’s revered position as the Àrólẹ̀ Odùduwà, highlighting the traditional institution’s significance in preserving the history, identity and values of the Yoruba people.

The Accord chieftain prayed for God’s continued protection, sound health, wisdom and longevity for the monarch, expressing hope that his reign would continue to bring peace, progress and development to Ile-Ife and the wider Yoruba nation.


He wished the Ooni many more fruitful years on the throne, with enduring legacies of cultural preservation, unity and service to humanity.
