Otunba Femi Aborisade has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with immediate effect.

Aborisade announced his decision in a resignation letter dated October 17, 2026, addressed to the APC Ward Chairman in Igbajo, Osun State.

In the letter, he described his decision to leave the party as a personal one, following careful reflection on his political journey and the direction he intends to take in the future.

He expressed appreciation to party leaders, colleagues and members for their support and the opportunities he enjoyed during his time in the APC.

Aborisade also requested that his name be removed from the party's membership register for Ward 4, Igbajo, and all relevant party records.

He did not disclose his next political move or indicate whether he intends to join another political party.

His resignation takes immediate effect, according to the letter.
