Temi Nkem has emerged as the winner of the 11th season of the Big Brother Naija reality television show, popularly known as BBNaija.

Nkem was announced as the winner during the grand finale of the “Show Ya Sef” edition on Sunday, October 4, 2026, bringing to an end 70 days of intense competition, drama, strategic gameplay, relationships, evictions and unexpected twists.

The 21-year-old housemate defeated eight other finalists to claim the coveted BBNaija crown and the ₦160 million grand prize. She secured 25.87 per cent of the final votes, according to reports following the finale.

Aikou emerged as the first runner-up, while Sheba finished as the second runner-up in the keenly contested finale.

The Season 11 edition officially premiered on July 26, 2026, with 24 housemates entering Biggie’s house to compete for the biggest prize in the history of the show at the time. The season featured several twists, alliances, nominations, evictions and disciplinary actions before the number of contestants was eventually reduced to the final nine.

Among the season’s major talking points was Barry’s Ultimate Veto Power, which he used during the latter stages of the competition. He was subsequently given a choice between “Immunity For All” and “Immunity For None” and opted to save the remaining housemates, effectively securing their places in the finale.

The competition also featured a dramatic fake eviction involving Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem, while Keivo was later disqualified following a physical confrontation with Tram, further reshaping the final lineup.

By the final week, Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram remained in contention for the crown. Viewers were then given the final say through voting, with voting closing ahead of the grand finale.

With her victory, Temi Nkem becomes the latest housemate to have her name etched in the history of Big Brother Naija, following a season that kept viewers across Nigeria and beyond engaged for more than two months.

The grand prize comes with a cash component and a brand-new SUV. MultiChoice had announced ahead of the season that the winner would receive a record ₦160 million prize package, comprising ₦100 million in cash and a new SUV.

Temi Nkem’s victory marks the conclusion of the “Show Ya Sef” edition, with the reality television franchise once again producing a new winner from a field of young Nigerians who competed for fame, fortune and the ultimate BBNaija title.
