MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM — Otunba Olagoke Oladosu, Convener of Imole 2026 in the Diaspora and Founder of the Goke Progressive Movement, has congratulated the government and residents of Osun State on the state’s performance in the 2026 Transparency and Integrity Compliance Index.

In the latest national evaluation, Osun State climbed to second position among the 36 states of the federation.

In an official statement released from Manchester, United Kingdom, Otunba Oladosu described the milestone as well-deserved and a clear reflection of the people-centred governance model established under Governor Ademola Adeleke.

According to Oladosu, the national recognition reinforces the rapid developmental progress recorded in Osun over the past three years, during which the state moved from near neglect to renewed administrative and economic relevance. He characterized Osun as one of Nigeria’s fastest-developing states within that period and praised citizens for electing leadership focused on systemic improvement across critical public sectors.

Highlighting ongoing investments in infrastructure, health, and education, Oladosu noted that public spending in Osun is yielding measurable returns. He cited Osun's fifth-place position in the recent National Education Council rankings as additional validation of the administration’s institutional reforms.

"I appreciate the People’s Governor and members of his cabinet for lifting our dear state from almost zero. Osun has now become a state one can be proud of when placed beside others in the federation," Oladosu stated.

Concluding his statement, Otunba Oladosu offered prayers for sustained peace and progress in the state while urging local and diaspora stakeholders to preserve the administrative transparency and fiscal accountability that enabled the high ranking.
