A passenger who reportedly became disruptive and aggressive on a Kenya Airways flight died shortly before the aircraft landed in Lagos, according to the report.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when the passenger allegedly became restless and attempted to make his way towards the cockpit before subsequently heading towards the rear door of the aircraft.
According to Nigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority, passengers and crew members quickly intervened and restrained the man.
The aircraft subsequently landed safely in Lagos.
Kenya Airways reportedly declared a medical emergency approximately 20 minutes before touchdown. The passenger was declared dead upon arrival.
The circumstances surrounding the passenger’s death remain unclear, while the police have commenced an investigation into the incident.
