IJEBU-JESA — As electoral officers prepare to depart for their designated polling units, rigorous operational guidelines are being enforced on the ground.

At the Ijebu-Jesa Town Hall Registration Area Centre (RAC) located within Oriade Local Government Area, the Supervisory Officer delivered a strict briefing to all deployed field personnel.

Addressing the officers before deployment, the supervisor emphasized the critical protocol surrounding election documentation management. Personnel were explicitly instructed to safeguard sensitive material, specifically directing that the first and second sheets of the results sheet must not be handed over to any unauthorized individuals. Instead, officers are mandated to retain and securely return them directly to the designated collation center.

The directive forms part of standard measures to maintain accountability and transparency at the grassroots level of election administration. Field officers across various jurisdictions rely on structured deployment points like Registration Area Centres to coordinate logistics before moving to respective polling stations.
