ABUJA — Legal practitioner and politician Pelumi Olajengbesi has reacted to circulating reports alleging that Senator Francis Fadahunsi has been detained by the Nigerian Police.



​Taking to social media, Olajengbesi posted a brief statement addressing the development:


​"Senator Fadahunsi detained by Nigerian Police. If this true, then that makes sense."


​The development comes on the heels of an ongoing legal feud between the two figures. Olajengbesi recently slammed a 24-hour ultimatum and a ₦10 billion defamation lawsuit against the lawmaker over statements linking him to thuggery and cult groups like Eiye and Aye during recent television interviews on Viable TV and Channels Television's Politics Today.
