Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has joined the global football community in celebrating Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, following his heroic performance that secured the Turkish Süper Lig title for Galatasaray.

In a decisive 4–2 victory over Antalyaspor on Saturday, May 9, 2026, Osimhen scored twice—including a critical 66th-minute penalty and an 88th-minute winner—to seal Galatasaray's fourth consecutive championship.
