Big Brother has sanctioned housemates in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 11 reality show following repeated violations of the programme’s rules.

The disciplinary action was taken after Big Brother summoned the housemates and confronted them over several infractions recorded in the house.

Among the violations highlighted were the improper use of microphones, whispering, staring at cameras and speaking directly to cameras.

Big Brother reportedly played video clips showing some of the infractions before reminding the housemates that compliance with the rules was mandatory.

The latest intervention comes as the “Show Ya Sef” edition enters its fourth week, with 21 housemates remaining in the competition following Kamsy’s eviction.

The season, which began on July 26, has 24 contestants competing for a ₦160 million grand prize.

Big Brother has maintained a strict approach to rule enforcement throughout the season, with previous violations also attracting disciplinary measures.

In one of the earlier sanctions, ₦5 million was deducted from the season’s prize fund following repeated breaches of the house rules.

The latest punishment is expected to further reinforce the importance of discipline among the remaining contestants as the competition intensifies.

With the race for the grand prize gathering momentum, housemates will now be expected to remain within the boundaries of Big Brother’s rules while navigating the increasingly competitive atmosphere in the house.
