The All Progressives Congress (APC) has updated the composition of its 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, naming Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, as the party’s Osun State Coordinator, according to a campaign council list circulating alongside an inauguration notice.

The list, released ahead of the inauguration of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/ APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, names Adeleke as the coordinator for Osun State, replacing former Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, who previously held the position as the party leader in Osun state.

The campaign council is scheduled to be inaugurated on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, at 11:00 a.m.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is listed as Chairman of the council, while Senator Kashim Shettima and Professor Nentawe Yilwatda are named as Vice Chairmen I and II, respectively.

Senator Abdulaziz Yari is listed as Director-General, with several other political figures assigned responsibilities across the council’s leadership, secretariat, zonal coordination and state campaign structures.

The development comes as political parties continue to position themselves ahead of the 2027 general elections.
