ILE-IFE, OSUN STATE — The Oluwatosin Eluwole Youth and Student Movement has officially commenced operations across Ife Federal Constituency, bringing together students and youths from communities, institutions and campuses within the constituency.

The movement is being established to mobilise young people in support of the House of Representatives ambition of Hon. Oluwatosin Eluwole, while providing a coordinated platform for youth and student engagement across the constituency.

According to a statement signed by the movement’s Director-General, Alaba Samuel Oluwagbotemi, the organisation comprises students and youths who have come together to support Eluwole’s aspiration to represent Ife Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.

Oluwagbotemi said the movement goes beyond electoral mobilisation, noting that it is also intended to provide young people with a platform to connect, communicate, organise and participate in issues affecting their communities and future.

He described the commencement of the movement’s activities as the beginning of a new phase of organised youth and student engagement across Ife Federal Constituency.

According to him, the movement will focus on building a grassroots network among students and youths across communities and institutions, while promoting leadership, constructive engagement, participation and awareness of issues affecting young people.

He added that the movement would continue to expand its structures across the constituency as more students and youths become involved in its activities.

The Director-General called on students, youths, community leaders, stakeholders and residents of Ife Federal Constituency to take note of the movement’s official commencement.

He said further activities, engagements and initiatives would be communicated to the public through the movement’s official channels.

The Oluwatosin Eluwole Youth and Student Movement is expected to continue its mobilisation and engagement activities across Ife Federal Constituency as preparations and political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
